Rebrand the channel. Commit to weekly.
Rename @ImarketingParty to David Gonzalez, and commit to posting one video a week. That's the whole ask. The channel already has 745 subscribers, 136 public videos, and 18 years of search and watch history — starting a new channel from zero would throw all of that away.
Don't start from zero when you don't have to
Renaming keeps every subscriber, every past view, and every existing search signal — while pointing all of it at David's name going forward. This is a rebrand, not a relaunch.
YouTube is a search engine David doesn't own yet
YouTube is owned by Google and its videos are indexed directly in Google search results. A well-titled, consistently-published video is one of the fastest ways to show up for a name search.
The gap today
The channel's own About section claims monthly uploads — the last video actually went up roughly 8 years ago. Restarting on a real weekly cadence, under David's name, and linked back to simplythecoolest.com and the other properties, is the single highest-leverage move available for getting him to rank.
Rebrand, then publish from the archive
1. Rebrand the channel
- Change the name and handle to David Gonzalez (or "David Gonzalez | Internet Marketing Party")
- Rewrite the About section and keywords to include Austin, connector, and networking — not just marketing terms
- Update the banner and trailer to lead with the 3DayThinkTank Documentary and the Connector positioning
- Cross-link every property — simplythecoolest.com, 3daythinktank.com, and the other two channels — so they reinforce one identity
2. Produce & Publish Weekly
- Leverage your A.I. workflow to generate high-impact scripts and "Connector" manifestos.
- You own the heavy lifting: scripting, filming, and designing the thumbnails.
- We'll interleave your fresh content with High-priority archive videos to maintain the weekly cadence.

What David films going forward
Six recurring formats that keep the SEO engine fed and reinforce the connector positioning — not one-off ideas, a rhythm.
Event coverage
Keep the pre-party interview going, add a 90-second post-party recap, and a "who I connected this month" segment naming real introductions — the sharpest move for SEO since those people reshare it.
60–90 day follow-ups
Check back in with past guests on what actually came from a connection David made. The $25M and $1M-day stories are a pattern, not a fluke — go find the next one.
Connector tactics
Revive "Event Connection Tips" with new episodes — how to decide who to introduce to who, how to work a room. Ranks for "networking tips Austin" long after posting.
Austin Founder Spotlight
Short profiles on people in his network. Each is a searchable name, each person shares their own spotlight — slowly makes the channel the hub for "who's who in Austin."
3DTT behind-the-scenes
How David curates a cohort, what "no solutions for the first hour" actually looks like in the room. A different angle that keeps the premium offer visible too.
AMA / Q&A
Periodic Q&A on networking and building in Austin — puts David's own voice front and center, since most of the current archive is other people talking about him.
Four decisions, tonight
- Confirm the rebrand name — "David Gonzalez" vs. "David Gonzalez | Internet Marketing Party"
- Channel admin access, to make the name/branding change and start scheduling uploads
- Commit to the A.I. content workflow: delivering weekly scripts, thumbnails, and "Connector" manifestos
- Green light to interleave archive videos when needed to maintain the weekly publishing cadence
